Minister: Foreign IT firms lose 700 bln rbl after quitting Russia

MOSCOW, Dec 20 (PRIME) – Losses of the foreign IT companies that left Russia after the start of the special operation in Ukraine amounted to 650–700 billion rubles in 2022, Digital Development Minister Maksut Shadayev said on Tuesday.

“The foreign companies left by their own choice and lost a significant part of their revenue,” Shadayev said.

“It means we will compete with the countries that are ready to cooperate with us and make joint projects. They are quite numerous. We see now high demand from the countries of Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia for Russian technologies, joint projects,” the minister added.
